Trip Plan

This 14-day mission takes place during August in the Lofoten Islands, one of the best times of year for long golden sunsets and late-night mountain light. The expedition begins on the southern tip of the archipelago and moves north by van, travelling through coastlines, rugged mountain ridgelines, and quiet stretches of Arctic wilderness. Most nights are spent free-camping on beaches, cliff edges, or at the top of towering peaks. Having only a few hours of darkness allows early-morning/late-evening hikes when the sky glows for hours.

Throughout the journey, I hike exposed ridgelines, climb to panoramic viewpoints, and capture the transitions between sunset and sunrise. Along the way, I explore small fishing villages, coastal settlements, and fjordside communities, documenting local life and the connection people have with the land and sea. The entire route is shaped around slow travel, continuous movement, and a focus on the rare Arctic light that defines this region in summer.

Brand Integration

This expedition can be tailored to reflect the supporting brand’s values, whether it emphasises exploration, creative storytelling, environmental awareness, or minimalistic travel. The trip produces an extensive content library from mountains, beaches, ridgelines, fjords, and coastal communities, as well as a final customised documentary that the brand fully owns.
