Trip Plan
This 14 day expedition takes place on a remote chain of tropical islands known for clear water, vibrant reef ecosystems, and rare bioluminescent phenomena. The mission focuses on surfing at night, where glowing waves break under the stars, creating surreal electric-blue light that illuminates each turn and carve. Days are spent exploring reef passages, speaking with local families, and documenting the fishing and ocean traditions that shape everyday life in these communities. Camps and accommodation remain simple and locally grounded, allowing for early-morning dives, sunset sessions, and night shoots focused on the bioluminescence.

Across the trip, I capture a blend of ocean movement, island culture, and calm tropical living without naming specific islands or surf zones. Clear water, reef patterns, boat rides, and quiet palm-lined beaches form the visual backbone of the mission, while the night-surf sequences create the standout cinematic moments. The expedition balances cultural immersion with ocean exploration and some of the most visually striking conditions in tropical surf environments.
